Sunday morning I woke up fairly early and finished off the expresso beans and a cheese danish Smash brought in. Then it was off to the laundry room to wash Silvermane's shirt and pants (as well as more mundane laundry). Naturally, I wore Silvermane's head to do so.

Went to the fursuit lounge for the clothing & props SIG and the carving a head SIG. Teddy Ruxpin's info was interesting. Lance Ikegawa's tips on foam, adheasives, and construction were some of the best information I got at CF9, as well as close-up looks at his Hyena (Chase), Steele, and Frost heads. Passed Silvermane's head around as well. The demo ran well over, and I barely had time to say 'Bye to Brokken before he left.

Here's a rogues' gallery of some of the folks at the construction SIG. They know who they are :)

Looking out our room window I see Lance Ikegawa and Heather Riesen posing at poolside in the Frost & Fire fursuits and hotpaw it down to take pictures - wearing Silvermane, of course. Using a viewfinder with a muzzle in the way was a unique experience.

I hung poolside around while they changed into the hyenas, Chase and Kruuk (Kruuk is the tan one with spots), and took still more pictures.

Still in Silvermane, I make another pass through the lobby, posing for pictures with Torrle (on the left) and Huskee (on the right).

As I lope past the Con operations suite, I spot this Skiltaire relaxing in a chair.

Steve Plunkett and friend.

Two wolves are better than one :)

Plushie Bunny and Robert Skegg.

Dragon had Outback gift certificates, so he, Smash, Lance Pope and myself made a pilgrimage to Outback. We found it was an hour wait for a table, so we retreated to Mad Wolf's Mongolian BBQ, where we ran into a whole pack of other furs. Lance gets his first taste of Dave's Insanity Special Reserve Hot Sauce.

We got back just in time to see the start of a spontaneous Fur Dance at the hotel bar. I'm out of fursuit, but still have fun taking pictures of the dancers.

Furs with happy paws included Toy Fox (Topfox), Wildwolf, Rieshal, Don Coyote (Farthing Fox), Stego, and a black panther (Cataroo?).

Smash in his husky decides to play around the hotel; I'm following out-of-fur taking pictures. That's Reishal and Wildwolf with Smash.

We run into Loopy outside the bar . . .

. . . and we head back to the room. Loopy howls down to some furs by the pool while I change into Silvermane.

Loopy, Wildwolf, Dragon, Smash and myself wander back towards Knotts Berry about 11:30 or so. Bucky Boy and Lance Pope take pictures while we all pose in front of some of the shops; park security quietly watches us.

We all go to sleep pretty early - 1 or 2 in the morning.
